Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location was convenient and close to various attractions, the room I was allocated in the early hours of the morning was a nightmare with constant noise and strange sounds coming from the walls near the windows. The upside was the friendly and professional service provided by the staff, although their knowledge about hotel operations seemed limited. The dining options were average with repetitive choices, but the location made up for it with easy access to popular spots around the city.
My stay was exceptional as our terrace led straight to the Sandy beach. The rooms are exceptional and well taken care of, located right outside of the elevator and the ice machine. The service was nice and they granted our request for a higher floor room, which was ready upon arrival. The location is perfect, right off the I8, making it easy to get around San Diego. The dining experience was less than appealing, with lackluster options and high prices. Overall, a great beachfront location with some room for improvement in dining.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room I stayed in was not worth what we paid for as it was dirty and smelled like marijuana due to neighboring guests smoking all night. On the bright side, the room had a comfortable king-size bed. The service was a bit of a letdown as my room wasn't cleaned on Thursday, but the valet service was very kind and courteous. The location was better than expected, with easy access to shopping centers and a short walk over the freeway. The dining options were disappointing for the price, with dry muffins not worth $20 a plate, but there were plenty of options available. Despite the downsides, the on-site facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel location is convenient, close to shopping centers and a short distance from downtown. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The view from the hotel is impressive, but the cleanliness of the rooms was subpar during these challenging times.
